As part of St. James Cathedral's St. Cecilia's Day music open house. Duo Oriana invites you to experience the sounds of private devotional music of the 16th and 17th centuries. Following the Reformation and Catholic Counter-Reformation, a flourishing of musical compositions intended for home worship appear across Europe. In this short program, Duo Oriana will highlight musical practices from England, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy. All are welcome to this open concert.
